This cemetery is located in North Berwick on the Lebanon Road.

The current owner of the Hall farm is a Hall descendant. A friend of the family told me an interesting legend
passed down through the Hall family of 3 African Americans who came to the farm during or after the Civil War.
He was not sure if they were escaped slaves or freed men.  Their names were Sip, Sim & Teapot and they lived and worked on the farm until their deaths and were buried in the family plot. Small uncarved stones mark their
resting place. As so many of the stones are now unreadable, it is difficult to tell exactly where they are buried.
